What is Advent 200mg/28.5mg Tablet?

Advent 200mg/28.5mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that helps treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It is capable of killing bacteria that have become resistant to other therapies and thus also helps treat tuberculosis that is resistant to other treatments. Whereas, clavulanic acid serves a special purpose of inhibiting an enzyme (beta-lactamase) that is produced by resistant bacteria.

What are the uses Advent 200mg/28.5mg Tablet?

Advent 200mg/28.5mg Tablet is used for treating,

  • Treatment of Bacterial infections
  • Treatment of Resistance Tuberculosis (TB)

How to Use Advent 200mg/28.5mg Tablet?

  • Normally take Advent 200mg/28.5mg Tablet exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Do not crush or chew the tablet.
  • It may cause diarrhea, gas or an upset stomach.
  • Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it.
  • Do not handle the tablets with wet hands.

If you forget to take Advent 200mg/28.5mg Tablet

  • Take your Advent 200mg/28.5mg Tablet at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

If you take more Advent 200mg/28.5mg Tablet

  • Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are taking more than the recommended tablet.
  • These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop taking Advent 200mg/28.5mg Tablet

  • Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop taking this medicine.
