What is Amlodac T 40 mg/5 mg Tablet?

Amlodac T 40 mg/5 mg Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure, chest pain due to narrowing of the blood vessels of the heart muscle (angina pectoris) or the rarer form of chest pain caused by cramping of the blood vessels of the heart muscle called Prinzmetal or variant angina.

What are the uses Amlodac T 40 mg/5 mg Tablet?

Amlodac T 40 mg/5 mg Tablet is used for treating,

  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)

How to Use Amlodac T 40 mg/5 mg Tablet?

  • Normally take Amlodac T 40 mg/5 mg Tablet exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Do not crush or chew the tablet.
  • It may cause diarrhea, gas or an upset stomach.
  • Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it.
  • Do not handle the tablets with wet hands.

If you forget to take Amlodac T 40 mg/5 mg Tablet

  • Take your Amlodac T 40 mg/5 mg Tablet at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

If you take more Amlodac T 40 mg/5 mg Tablet

  • Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are taking more than the recommended tablet.
  • These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop taking Amlodac T 40 mg/5 mg Tablet
